Beautiful
I see Your face in every sunrise
The colors of the morning are inside Your eyes
The world awakens in the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
You’re beautiful
I see Your power in the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion and galaxies are bright
We are amazed in the light of the stars
It’s all proclaiming who You are
You’re beautiful, You're beautiful
I see you there hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died and then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on Your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
You’re beautiful, you're beautiful
When we arrive at eternity’s shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We’ll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we’ll sing
You’re beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful
I see Your face, You're beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful
I see Your face, You're beautiful, You're beautiful, You're beautiful
I see Your face, I see Your face
I see Your face, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
Beautiful by Phil Wickham
This is one of my favorite songs to sing at Breakaway (a rather large Texas A&M bible study and worship on Tuesday nights)
I woke up with the lyrics playing through my mind and heart as I had my quiet time looking out the window into the sky and the colors of the morning. In three days I will be moving out of my dorm and back home for the summer to take some summer classes and work at PINE COVE! However this presents a bittersweet moment for me because I am ending my Freshman year at college where I have learned so much and so much has changed. I am a different person than the girl who moved into this dorm room 9 months ago. God has worked wonders in those around me and in my life. He is doing such great things and it has been amazing to see and experience it all. I am so excited to see what this summer brings and how He will work in the next few months :)
